I am sure that my laptop is normally working except the backlight.When this problem happens, I close the lid and my laptop goes to standby mode,after that I open the lid and the screen it lit again, Sometimes I have to close and open several times to get it lit back. Sometimes the screen goes off when playing film or music but the film or music sound is still playing, and I still can see the statement of the film still moving on in a very dim image. I have a Toshiba centrino laptop, it had been serving me 2 for years but now it has a problem with its LCD screen.The screen often goes off and becomes very dark, there isn’t any lighting on the screen, but when I look close to the screen, I can see the GUI display as it is normally working.
